Welcome to Dashcam Zone. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, products, and services. By purchasing from or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Services Provided

Dashcam Zone specialises exclusively in the following services:

  • Dashcam Supply: Sale of dashcams and related accessories

  • Dashcam Installation: Professional and mobile installation of dashcams in vehicles

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any services at our discretion. Any changes will be reflected in these Terms & Conditions.

2. Bookings & Scheduling

Appointments:
Dashcam installation services must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or direct communication.

Cancellations & Rescheduling:
Customers may cancel or reschedule an installation appointment up to 6 hours prior to the scheduled time without penalty.

No Show Policy:
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in a $50 no show fee.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, PayID, or bank transfer.

  • Payment is due upon completion of the installation or at the time of purchase for supplied products.

  • Any additional charges (e.g. hardwiring, vehicle-specific requirements, or unforeseen complexities) will be communicated and approved prior to proceeding.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Vehicle Condition:
Customers must ensure the vehicle is in a condition suitable for dashcam installation. Dashcam Zone is not responsible for damage arising from pre-existing conditions such as brittle trim, prior modifications, electrical faults, or hidden damage.

Dashcam Compatibility:
If supplying your own dashcam, you are responsible for confirming compatibility with your vehicle prior to installation. Dashcam Zone is not liable for issues arising from incompatible or customer-supplied equipment.

Access & Information:
Customers must provide full access to the vehicle and disclose any vehicle-specific features or modifications that may affect installation.

5. Limitation of Liability

Dashcam Products:
Dashcam Zone is not responsible for manufacturer defects, firmware issues, or product malfunctions not caused by installation workmanship.

Installation Services:
We are not liable for dashcam malfunctions or electrical issues unless directly caused by an installation error.

Force Majeure:
Dashcam Zone shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, or technical failures.

6. Warranty

Dashcam Products:
All dashcams and accessories are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty claims must be handled directly with the manufacturer unless otherwise stated.

Installation Workmanship:
Dashcam installation workmanship is warranted for 6 months from the date of installation. This warranty does not cover issues caused by misuse, tampering, accidents, or modifications after installation.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Dashcam Zone respects your privacy. All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian privacy laws. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

8. Customer Feedback & Complaints

We value customer feedback. If you have any concerns or complaints regarding our products or installation services, please contact us and we will aim to resolve the matter promptly.

11. Modifications to Terms & Conditions

Dashcam Zone reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
